Climbing back up

Wow, I guess its true sometimes you have to let go of that damn rope to be caught, I found this on a lovely girls facebook page today. And I just remembered its Fingerprint friday. I had a really bad week, among other things, the bottom line is I can barely afford to keep a roof over our heads and this week it really got to me. Really. But God stepped in by putting some new friends in my path. Fingerprint Friday happens every Friday. A day started by Beckie at Pampering Beckie here. How does God touch your life share it on your blog and paste the link on Beckies.

FingerPrint Friday

Sometimes we need to stop analyzing the past, stop planning the future, stop trying to figure out precisely how we feel, stop deciding with our mind what we want our heart to feel and sometimes we just have to go with 'Whatever happens-happens'"

Everything happens for a reason: to touch someone's heart, to open someone's eyes, to bless a life. Take nothing for granted; Live everyday to the fullest and have no regrets. Tomorrow is not certain or promised and our last breathe is not determined by us. Life's too short to be anything but happy.

Have no fear for giving in
Have no fear for giving over
You’d better know that in the end
Its better to say too much
Then never say what you need to say again
Even if your hands are shaking
And your faith is broken
Even as the eyes are closing
Do it with a heart wide open
Say what you need to say

Thank you for a very uplifting post! I too am struggling with all the bills and unexpected expenses. Very stressful.

But, like you, I choose to trust God and be happy. One night earlier this week, I couldn't sleep, and so I envisioned our family and our course as a ship on the ocean, and I gave over the helm and job of steering to God. Ahhh! What a relief! When I start to feel stressful, I just close my eyes and see God in charge, steering our ship. And I can trust and relax. Everything is in His hands.

Beautifully put. Though my challenges are different your last statement is absolutely true. "Life's too short to be anything but happy." I'm blessed enough to have a daughter who reminds me of that every day.

My girls look absolutely beautiful in the skirts we got from you too... I should catch a picture and share it with you.

I'm so glad I found you this morning. I don't know where to start! First, you are an AMAZING designer. Your dresses are so adorable I had to call my 18-yr-old daughter in here to show her. I wish I had a little girl to dress them in! They are artwork.

Second, I found your post today to be inspiring. I love that John Mayer song.

And lastly, I read back a few posts and saw your struggles with faith. I think most of us have been there, if we tell the truth, and wonder why things happen the way they do. Faith is a walk, not a destination. It is bumpy sometimes, okay, LOTS of times, and life has great pain along with our interludes of happiness. But I have come to rest more frequently in knowing HE knows why things happen and I never will, this side of heaven. It's given me great peace. I don't know if that is at all helpful to you but I just wanted you to know I've been there and will be again, I'm sure. When I lost my first baby after four years of infertility, I definitely walked this path.

Blessings to you, new friend. Found you through Pampering Beki. :)

such a great way to view things! and i pray that God will bring a miracle financially into your life. He is our provider, He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and He will ALWAYS take care of His kids... we are all too familiar with that so i know how you feel!

Wonderful blog and hoping all will go well this week for you. I always feel sorry for people that don't believe in anything..they have nothing to hang on to, but themselves. We are so lucky to realize are prayers are being answered..Have to admit, sometimes it isn't the answer I want, but it always turns out right.

I'm so sorry you have had a tough week. It's times like these that we need to hang on tighter to God's promises. It sounds like you are and for that I am encouraged and uplifted by your post. Wishing you many smiles and happiness to come your way!
