It's a shame that the laws in our country do everything they can to protect the guilty. Im sure if our forfathers saw what was going on in the court sytems here they would be very saddened. I wish I could take my anger and make a change but I have know idea how. It is so frustrating dealing with this and these men just keep getting away with and everything is done to protect their rights but noone seems to care that a child would go without child support ordered by the supreme court year after year. I try and pray and usually succeed but some days I just want to scream and cry.

well, its a good thing i know what to do when i feel that way i just went to a meeting and figured out that under all the anger is fear, fear that i cant financially take care of us.

A needed Break

I have to say, I can't wait to close up shop and take a break next week, just hope I can really let myself take a break, I usually prefer to work:) I am a little ahead of the schedule I posted on etsy. So if your waiting for things, they are coming! I am panicked about falling behind and getting a bad name for myself. I have seen this happen to at least 6 other etsy shops in the last half year.

So I am going to try something new. I am taking my current listings down sunday night. I will reopen my shop September 5th (depending on the photographer) and list 6new outfits and they will be limited to 10 available per style. After (If) I sell them I will close again for a week and sew. I have to keep this manageable.

So look for Patisserie late next week! These are hand picked goodies. Each fabric is prettier then the next!

Dear Diary...A Testimony

A strange thing happened. Its easy to forgive when a person who has harmed you stops harming you. But when the wrong doer keeps doing wrong and getting away with it, its much harder to forgive and turn it over and let it go. Last week the anger about a certain situation was eating me up. I know I am powerless to change this situation. This person seems to be above the law. Anyway, at the bottom again with this ongoing saga, I did what I have been told to do by many a book, religion and step program. Pray for the person you resent. Whenever a bad thought about the person comes into your head replace it with a prayer. So I tried this again last week but a little more sincerly. And, the result, a surprise to me. Yesterday heavy on my heart was clarity about a wrong I had done this person. Yuk, thats not what I wanted to happen. I don't owe him an apology my 1 wrong to his 500. Well here it sits now in complete truth. I have to pray for the integrity to do the right thing.

The "BUG"

Well the creativity bug has got me again.. A friend has been helping me press orders and ship this week. She worked for me when I had and lost my other business. She says your doing it again you should have 20 pieces on your line...period. I was afraid to tell her I have 100 pieces and 6 more on the way. I'm sending some stretch cords, a new design, a surprise rufflle pant and some new peasant tops out to be photographed tomorrow. I cant help myself, after sewing about 50 of those Halloween Twirl Dresses..thanks to Christy and her fabulous photo...this week...I need ed to create. Its hard to run a business this way. I like to cater to every person and add an inch where needed...I know this is not the way to make money. But..I just can't help myself ...so look for 6 new pieces this week..and Lisa your box is on the way:)
