Welcome all like minded souls...creative women who are inspired by wild flowers and bird's nests, forsythia and the first signs of spring, the smell of the earth rediscovered under the last bits of winter snow, lilacs, antique flea markets and everything vintage, beautiful fabrics and coffee on rainy warm Saturday mornings..

Live from New York
I have not moved from my sewing machine for the last 2 weeks except to run down to the post office! Until Tonight--we were so lucky!! We got to go to the first game ever at the new Yankee Statium! I don't go out much and even though I wiash I was a farm girl, these kind of nights make me happy to be a New Yorker, riding the subway up to the Bronx and the New Stadium is beautiful! The 7th inning take me out to the ball game song and thw West Point cadets with a huge American Flag , oh and the Yankees won! And when we were leaving tonight they were playing Frank Sinatra singin New York New York you could hear it all the way to the subway--a great night!
