FingerPrint Friday

Remember to scroll down for my new spring giveaway.

Yay me! I am finally back here! Fingerprint Friday, I missed this..how does God show himself to you...want to join in, go over to Pampering Beckie here.
I have been dying to post this, I have been carrying it around for 20 years, it's all tattered. Sometimes words are more beautiful then a photo...

Oklahoma!
Act 1
Scene One: The back porch and yard of Laurie's farmhouse

"It is a radiant summer morning several years ago,
the kind of morning, which enveloping the shapes of
earthmen, cattle in a meadow, blades of young corn,
streams--makes them seem to exist now for the first
time, their images giving off a golden emanation that is
partly true and partly a trick of the imagination, focus-
ing to keep alive a loveliness that may pass away.

I don't know why but this makes me cry.

Beautiful! You've painted an ethereal picture that would probably be difficult or impossible to capture with a camera. Wishing you blessings this Friday.

Beautiful words. I can see why you've carried them with you. Oklahoma was the first musical I'd ever seen...and it was the movie at the theater. I was so little. But I remember it well. It's so nice to see you joining us!
