Welcome all like minded souls...creative women who are inspired by wild flowers and bird's nests, forsythia and the first signs of spring, the smell of the earth rediscovered under the last bits of winter snow, lilacs, antique flea markets and everything vintage, beautiful fabrics and coffee on rainy warm Saturday mornings..

Dear Dad...
I miss you and I hope you are having a feast up in Heaven now enjoying all the foods you couldn't have for years, lentil soup with ham, an ice cold beer, hot pastrami, meatballs fried in oil not water. And I know you can finally walk again without pain and draw the way you use to and I hope your looking down at us knowing how much you are still loved. You were a special man. So many people at the wake, you were as close to a saint as you could be on earth. I didn't realize until now what an inspiration you were to me. You passed your artistic talent to Jennie and your generosity of spirit to me. I will try every day for the rest of my life to be as good of a person as you were.I miss you so much and wish you were here but I'm glad your out of pain. My life will never be the same.

I am so sorry for your loss in this present time. It is good that you will meet up again.
I am very sorry for your loss. AnaDC
I am so so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to let go of someone we love. But remember, that God says it is just the veil of time that separates us, if you could lift it up, your dad would be right in front of you (in that same vain, since there is no "time" in heaven, instantly, after your father arrives, you are there with him) So, he is filled now as you must learn to live (a short time compared to eternity) without him. You will be together again. God Bless.
I am so sad for you. I am terrified of that day coming soon for me. My thoughts and prayers are for you now. Your daughter is so beautiful! I feel like I have seen or met your dad somewhere. I live in Atlanta now, but lived in Warwick NY for 49 Years. That is about 50 minutes from Manhatten. Take care, you are so talented!
