life

It's a shame that the laws in our country do everything they can to protect the guilty. Im sure if our forfathers saw what was going on in the court sytems here they would be very saddened. I wish I could take my anger and make a change but I have know idea how. It is so frustrating dealing with this and these men just keep getting away with and everything is done to protect their rights but noone seems to care that a child would go without child support ordered by the supreme court year after year. I try and pray and usually succeed but some days I just want to scream and cry.

well, its a good thing i know what to do when i feel that way i just went to a meeting and figured out that under all the anger is fear, fear that i cant financially take care of us.

  1. Being on your own, with children, is very scary. My children's father and I split when they were 1 (at the time, we had 3 surviving quads) After he moved out, I had to fight for child support and agreed to take a token amount each week ($100 for 3 kids!)

Emma has since passed away (2007) so I have 2 here on earth (Anna & John -- James passed away at 5 days old) I continue to get $100 a week for the 2, very little I know. I am self employed and it is scary but we have to do what we have to do. At least I get something, I hope that you are able to at some point.

  2. It does seem so wrong and deadbeat dads are hard to understand. Especially when they live at a level far above their children.

My own biological father was a deadbeat dad like that. When he and his wife sent their last support check - which was paltry and very sporadic - they enclosed a note saying it was about time and "good riddance." But they now both live empty, self-focused lives while mine has been filled with the hope of Christ, a loving family, and terrific friends.

I pray that God will provide all your needs but you're already WAY ahead of the game with your beautiful heart of love and generosity.

  3. Very sad how these deadbeat dads can get away with this. If its been court ordered that he pay child support, can't they garnish his paycheck if he refuses to pay?

Hang in there. If there's anything I can do or if you want to talk, please call me.

  5. So sorry for what you're going through.

What is it that makes him think it's ok to not provide child support? No matter how angry he is, how can you not take care of your child.

  6. I understand how you feel. I just got court order for child support for my 3 girls, a 7 year old and 2 year old twins. I know, I am not going to get anything, so I will just pray and work hard to make it by myself. Your shop is the best on ETSY, you will be successful again!
